CP-012
Levodopa is the gold-standard for treatment in Parkinson`s disease, but patients often need to administer up to 6-8 doses daily due to its short half-life and wearing-off. Since frequent dosing is not possible at nighttime, around 60% of patients suffer from disabling nocturnal and early morning muscle stiffness known as early morning akinesia.
CP-102
CP-102 is a novel therapeutic approach by which Contera Pharma aims to normalize NAA levels in the brain of Canavan disease patients via administration of a first-in-class antisense oligonucleotide, thereby slowing or stopping disease progression. Parkinson’s disease.

Team
Thomas Sager is Ph.D. in neuroscience and has more 24 years’ experience in drug discovery. After receiving his Ph.D. degree, he has been working in both the biotech and pharma industry. The focus of his professional career has always been ascribed to disorders within the central nervous system and related disorders with the ambition to seek new treatments options.
